The significant socioeconomic impact of lung diseases, exemplified by the COVID-19 pandemic, underscores the need for effective treatments that slow disease progression, limit organ damage, and support tissue recovery. However, the lack of accurate human lung research models hinders progress due to their inability to replicate the pulmonary architecture and biochemical environment. Life Technologies offers drug discovery services based on Induced Pluripotent Stem Cells (iPSCs), which possess characteristics suitable for generating physiologically relevant in vitro lung models. These models enable developmental studies, disease modeling, and toxicological screening.
